Name: Mallory Gina Kane
Nationality: American
Hair: Black
Eyes: Brown
Height: 5'9 ft.
Weight: 143 lbs.
Occupation: Private intelligence contractor
Affiliations: Hay-Wire Security/United States Marine Corps

She was born at the Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton and is daughter of an Irish/American father and an Italian/American mother. She grew up all over the world because her father John Kane was a U.S. Marine Corps foreign area officer. Her mother Dana Kane was homemaker who suddenly died of cancer when she was seventeen. She is highly proficient in Muay Thai fighting and is also trained in Judo and Krav Maga as teenager. She decided to become a military police Marine and joins the United States Marine Corps, after graduation from high school.

She did Marine Combat Training at the School of Infantry at the Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune and then the Law Enforcement Military Police Course at the U.S. Army Military Police School, after recruit training at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island. She was assigned to the Security Battalion of the Military Police Company at the Marine Corps Base Quantico. She returned later to the Military Police School and has joined the Special Reaction Team course. She was assigned to the Special Reaction Section of the Provost Marshal's Office at Quantico afterwards. She served as member of the base Special Reaction Team.

She left the Marine Corps after eight years of service and moved to Washington, D.C. where she was hired by Hay-Wire Security, a high-tech private security and intelligence firm. She was tasked with work as physical security consulting and close protection services as junior contractor of the firm, as well as assisting with corporate investigations. Her exemplary work caught the attention of Hay-Wire Security's Board of Directors and they concluded that she would be perfect for work with the hidden side of the firm. Hay-Wire Security is also hired by the U.S. government to perform covert and clandestine espionage assignments, next to their work in the private sector. The tasks are too sensitive for political or legal reasons and are risky for the CIA or any other U.S. government agencies. Hay-Wire Security is hired to conduct physical operations, when intelligence is deemed critical to U.S. National Security and cannot be obtained by traditional entities and means.

She accepted the position enthusiastically, although she was initially told that the job is involved with "special government contracts", afterwards she was informed of the real nature of the work. She went then through an intensive operational training course to train her in so-called "operational intelligence" or "tradecraft" skills. This means that she has learned the finer points of espionage such as surveillance, clandestine photography, infiltration, and exfiltration techniques. She was also trained in night parachuting, tactical high speed emergency driving, rappelling from helicopters, and dry and wet demolition. She excelled through training because of her military experience. She was promoted to senior contractor after completing the training.

She is one of Hay-Wire Security's premier field operatives. She's placed in a team whose job is to infiltrate in a secure installation, critical seize intelligence, destroy dangerous data or equipment, or extract a high-value target. They can disregard various laws and international treaties in order to accomplish a mission, because Hay-Wire Security is a private intelligence service, who is independent of the official U.S. government national security apparatus.  She can virtually use any means which she deems necessary and there are usually little or no required procedures for the fulfillment of the mission.
